FAQs

Hair systems

What is the hair system?

The Hair System, also known as the Non-surgical hair Replacement System, Toupee, or Hairpiece, is a modern hair loss solution that works by providing full or partial coverage of the hair loss area.  Even when swimming, chasing kids, exercising, or working in demanding jobs, the hair system can help wearers get the full look of their hair, just like each customer's real hair.  As a result, they are becoming more and more popular in many countries.

Unlike hair transplants, which carry associated risks such as scarring, infection, and pain, there's no surgery, no recovery time, no medical expenses -- just a good, natural look and the feel of your hair.

Affordable hair replacement systems are the least costly way to hide hair loss, especially when compared to hair transplants.  Almost everyone can buy them, even for a long time.  With proper care and maintenance, they can last for years.  On average, the average person probably spends less than $1,000 a year on hair pieces.

How much does the hair system cost?

The cost of hair systems varies widely due to a number of factors.  Typically, hair systems on the market today retail for between $150 and $400.

The most important factors associated with the cost of hair systems are as follows:

Hair type

Different types of hair with different characteristics are used in the production of the hair system.  The most common human hair types are Indian hair, Indian remi hair, European hair and Chinese hair.  In contrast, synthetic hair is the most popular type of artificial hair.  Usually, more elaborate and scarce hair types, such as Indian Remy and European hair, command higher prices.  Synthetic hair usually has the lowest value because it can be produced easily and infinitely.  Another reason is that synthetic hair doesn't look as natural and realistic as human hair.

The length of the hair

When manufacturers of hair systems purchase human hair materials for production, the longer the hair, the higher the cost.  That's because hair is originally collected from the donor's head, and longer hair takes more time to grow back.  As for artificial hair, the production of long hair always requires more chemicals than short hair;  Therefore, whether real or synthetic, longer hair is always more expensive.

Hair density

Hair density is a measure of the hair volume of the hair system.  The higher the density, the more hair there is in the hair system.  Hair density is usually divided into different grades to meet the needs of different people of different hair density and age.  As with length, it makes perfect sense that higher hair density systems are more expensive because they require more hair material.

Supply and demand

Like most other products, the price of hair systems is influenced by local supply and demand.  Many wig vendors raise the prices of their best-selling products to achieve higher profit margins without hurting revenue, while items that do not sell well are often sold to clear inventory.  On the other hand, the price of the same wig tends to be higher in more economically developed regions with more purchasing power than in less developed regions.

Wholesale and Retail

Obviously, buying in bulk from a manufacturer costs less than going to a local store and buying a small amount.  This rule applies to most markets, and the wholesale hair systems market is no exception.  Wigs, especially wholesale men's hair systems, are much cheaper to buy directly from hair system manufacturers because their operating costs are much lower than those of wig dealers, whose target audience is the end user.

Is the hair system permanent?

Hair systems don't last forever because they're not a permanent solution.  The hair system should be trimmed once a week and completely removed and reattached monthly.

Most men's hair systems last anywhere from a month to a year, depending on the type of base material.

How long will my new hair system last?

The base material plays an important role in determining the longevity of the new hair system.  Different bases have different durability.  If you want your hair system to last longer, you may have to compromise the natural nature of your system.  To be honest, the more natural the hair replacement system looks, the less durable it is.

The following is the service life of basic materials of common hair system for your reference:

0.03mm ultrathin skin hair can be used for 1-2 months

0.04-0.06mm thin skin hair can be used for 2-3 months

The 0.07-0.12mm multi-skin hair system can be used for 4 to 6 months

The 0.12-0.15mm thick skin hair system can be used for about 6 months

Swiss lace hair system lasts about 2 months

The French lace hair system lasts about 3 months

The Mono hair system lasts for more than 6 months

Silk Top hair system lasts 2-4 months

What are the advantages of different hair systems?

The skin hair system has the most natural hairline.  The hair on the base uses a V-ring, so there are no knots, maintaining the most authentic appearance and easy to clean and secure.  It can be worn and cleaned at home.  Because it is very thin, the density of hair is very low, so it is very light.

The lace hair system is the most comfortable.  It's soft and breathable.  It is good for hot weather or jobs with lots of exercise.  It won't hurt the skin on the top of your head.  Use a bleached knot on the front of the base to maintain your true hairline.

Single-engine systems are the most durable.  It's breathable and strong.  It can hold a large density of hair and is therefore heavy.  It is often used in combination with a large area of NPU to ensure firm adhesion and an unexplored anterior hairline.

Silk top hair system is smooth and delicate, making you feel cool and breathable.  The infused hair ensures a lifelike appearance and is becoming increasingly popular with men.

How often should a man wash his hair system?

As a general rule, don't wash your hair more than twice a week.  The hair system can be washed off the head: in the sink: or in the shower.  Men's wigs should be washed lightly to avoid damaging the braids, rather than scrubbed with fingertips.  Pat gently with a towel until damp, then comb and style according to the stylist's instructions.

After WASHING, CAN USE a small AMOUNT of conditioner to maintain, such MEETING IS BRIGHTER AND more beautiful!

How to clean the hair system?

Most modern hair systems are sturdy enough to wash in place.  However, the best way to clean the hair system is when the toupee leaves your head.  This will allow you to completely remove dirt, grease and adhesives from a man's hair system.

To properly clean a men's hair system, follow these steps to ensure safe removal of dirt, debris, oil and adhesives.

Step 1: Remove the toupee band from the toupee hair.

Gently remove the toupee band from the toupee.  It is important to do this as carefully as possible so that you do not damage the bottom of the hair system.  Special male hair Replacement system solvents are available to help you remove hair bands and glue residues.

Step 2: Brush your toupee hair.

You should brush your best hair replacement system when hair is dry.  Using a hairpiece holder may help, as this allows you to brush it without scratching the substrate.  Brush men's toupees very gently and pay special attention to the nape of the base.  This area tends to be more tangled than other parts of the hair system.

Step 3: Soak the hair system.

Soak the hair system in warm or cold water.  Do not use hot water as it can cause a man's human hair piece to become brittle and break.  Let the water run from the top of the toupee to the bottom.  Make sure the water covers the entire hair system evenly.

Step 4: Remove excess water and shampoo.

Gently squeeze the excess water out of the hairpiece.  Your hair system should be wet, but not dripping. Use a shampoo that is safe for human hair and apply a small amount to your hands.  Rub the shampoo between your hands to form a thick lather, then apply the lather to your hair system.

Gently turn the system inside out and wash the inside of the toupee carefully to remove grease from the base.  Oil from the skin often gets onto the substrate, so it's important to wash this part carefully, even if it's largely invisible.

Step 5: Remove residue from the bottom of the hair system.

There are a number of residue removal products that can help you remove the adhesive at the bottom of your hair system.  Allowing the solvent to penetrate the substrate will make it easier to remove the residue.  Gently use a lint-free or microfiber cloth to remove any residue embedded in the bottom of the toupee.

If you have not already done so, be sure to remove all adhesive from your scalp with shampoo or mild soap.  All old adhesive must be removed before reconnecting the hair system.

Step 6: Rinse the hairpiece.

Rinse your hairpiece from top to bottom.  Make sure not to scrub or squeeze your hair, as this can damage a man's hair system.  Make sure to rinse all shampoo residue out of the hair toupee.

Step 7: Apply conditioner to your hair system.

Condition your toupee hair with a conditioner designed for the hair system.  Start with tips and head for the base.  Make sure to avoid placing conditioner directly at the bottom of the hair system.  Let the conditioner sit for two minutes or more to fully absorb.

Step 8: Rinse the conditioner.

Carefully rinse all conditioner and residue from your hair system.  Make sure you don't pull or pull your hair while rinsing.  There should be no residue on your hair system.

Step 9: Let the hair system air dry.

Allow the hair system to dry long enough for all moisture to evaporate.  While you can use a hair dryer on your hair system, using hot air will shorten the life of your hair system.

How to order the perfect fit custom hair system?

"Custom" means that your hair replacement system suits your needs.  The shape and size of the new unit will match your unique bald pattern.  It will be color matched, cut and styled to blend naturally with your own grown hair.

There are two ways to help:

1.Send back a mold and a sample of your own hair (to match color and frizz, etc.).  Click this link to see how to make the mold.

2.Send back your old equipment for reference.  So we can make a perfect copy.

How does the hair system stay on the scalp?

The hair system can be used by the stylist in the salon or by the wearer at home.  Wearers can remove and reattach their hair systems as often or as little as they like, depending on the styling and bonding strength of the hair systems.

Toupee tape, hairspray, or both?

Double-sided toupee tape and hairspray can be used to secure a man's hair system.  If you intend to remove the system daily, only toupee straps should be used, as this will reduce damage to the toupee.  However, if you intend to wear male hair pieces for an extended period of time before removing and reconnecting them, you should use hairspray.

How to install the hair system?

Step 1. Prepare the scalp for the installation of the male hair system

Step 2 Cut the bottom of the hair system to size

Step 3 Remove any possible oil or residue

Step 4 Apply scalp protectant to your scalp

Step 5. Place the hair system on your head

Step 6: Get a haircut and style

How to maintain the hair system?

How the hair system is maintained is also an important factor in how long the hair system will last. With good maintenance of your hair system, you can keep your hair system in top condition for a long time.

In subsequent articles, we will focus more on techniques for maintaining hair systems.

Have at least one hair system -- just like you should have more than one pair of shoes that you wear every day.  If you only use one a day, they will wash it often and dry it often to avoid the stink, which can kill hair follicles.  In order to extend the life of the hair system, we recommend users to use more than one as a replacement, so that it can be rotated as easily as possible to avoid excessive wear.

Don't overuse the hair dryer on your hair system -- it's a hair wrecker.  They make hair thin and thin, so it's crucial to avoid using a hair dryer whenever possible.  On the contrary, the sun is better because it is all natural.  The best way to dry a hair replacement device is to buy a wig holder;  With this, you can leave the hair in the outside holder overnight and the hair will have nice hair flow.

Use products designed for the hair system: shampoo, gel, brush.  Wait -- your hair system is just like your natural hair.  It's just as delicate as it is, so just as you have specific shampoos, gels, and brushes for your natural hair, you need specific shampoos and brushes for the same reason, because the wrong shampoo can kill hair follicles.  Know the contents of the shampoo you plan to use and whether the brush is a hair clipper or just a brush with a loose mouth.  What gel you use, how much gel you use.  Give something the ability to kill the hair system.

Don't wash your hair system too often - this is why you are required to have multiple hair systems to avoid excessive wear and tear, as areas that are not over-worn will not be washed as often.  Washing your hair regularly will dry and harden your hair because some of the ingredients used to make this hair system, and washing your hair regularly is to wash away the things that make up your hair.  In general, we recommend that we wash men's hair every week or two or less.  We advise users not to overuse it because the more you wash it, the more it fades.

Why choose a hair replacement system over hair transplant surgery?

Hair transplant surgery is expensive, recovery time is long, and even if the patient does everything right, there is no guarantee that the transplant or graft will succeed and thrive.  Growing up makes many look like plastic doll heads.  Many men with thinning hair or early baldness choose to use the Male Hair System to restore their hairline without the pain, expense, and disappointment.

A professionally crafted hair replacement system that looks and acts naturally restores the wearer's confidence.  The hair system is kept in place by sports or physical activity for easy care and styling.

Advantages of hair replacement system:

1) No pain or bleeding.

2) No unpleasant side effects or scars.

3) The air system allows for better control of the final appearance.

4) Many men are not candidates for hair transplants.

5) Hair system provides immediate results.

6) Hair systems are significantly cheaper.

7) The hair system is reversible.

Toupee

What's the difference between a Toupee and a wig?

With more and more people opting for non-surgical hair loss solutions, the Men's HairPieces wholesale market has significantly increased the stock of Toupee types designed to be more precise and specific to people's needs.  As a result, many terms in the male toupee world are often mistaken for each other.  The most common pair of terms that people confuse with each other are "toupee" and "wig."

Many people often confuse toupee with wig.  They are temporary wigs.  But they are completely different in use and design.  A high-quality Toupee or top hat sits on top of the customer's hair, like a miniature wig, and is held in place with pins, clips, glue, or tape.  They don't cover the entire head, but are great for adding layers to hair and giving the wearer a more natural look.  Wig, on the other hand, covers the entire head and is perfect for giving a full-on cover or effortlessly changing one's overall look.

In general, making Toupee requires more hair material and hair knotting work than making WIG.  Therefore, men's professional Toupee is undoubtedly more expensive.  However, wigs are generally considered a more user friendly option because you do not need to shave your head to attach the wig, as there is no need for tape and glue to secure the wig to your head.

Another thing to note is that more and more people, including those without hair loss problems, choose to wear wigs for fashion reasons.

When it comes down to it, whether you should buy a Toupee or a WIG for a man largely depends on your hair loss pattern.

How to care for a toupee?

With proper care, high-quality toupees can last a person months or even years.  The care process is similar to natural hair, but less frequent and thorough, as hair is not exposed to the same organic oils, elements, and other factors that require cleaning and maintenance.  Customers are advised to gently wash the toupee after every 10 uses to remove dirt.  Hair should be askew and rinsed off with clean, cold water.  Instruct client to gently massage shampoo into hair and rinse well.  For better results, they may choose to use a safe conditioner and rinse it out.  The wearer should dry the toupee properly and often.  Dry wigs can also be brushed, but only with a comb, as regular brushes can damage the toupee.

Can I sleep with Toupee on?

Men can sleep in Toupee.  It's not ideal, but it can be done.  Wearers need to take precautions, such as using silk pillowcases, to reduce any friction and prevent tangles that could damage Toupee.  However, removing Toupee allows the scalp and natural hair to breathe.  That's why sleeping with any Toupee is a bad idea, especially if one is prone to heavy hits during sleep.

Hairpieces

I exercise a lot and sweat most of the time.  Which Hairpieces are the most breathable for a very active lifestyle?

Full lace Hairpieces is the most breathable and lightweight style.  We also incorporate Ray-skin and skin bases that are also breathable and easy to apply and remove.  If you sweat a lot every day, we recommend removing Hairpieces and cleaning them thoroughly once a week.

I am looking for the safest hairpiece. Which base should I choose?

If bonded correctly, all our Hairpieces will provide you with secure attachments. If you care for your Hairpiece properly (remove, clean, and re-glue every 2-4 weeks), it will remain safe. Still, if you're looking for the most powerful accessory, many of our customers have the best experience with a complete skin base. Before wearing the full skin Base HairPiece, you will need to apply a liquid adhesive to the entire scalp to ensure the safest fit.

Is Wearing a hairpiece harmful to your scalp?  I haven't completely ruled out hair transplants in the future.

As long as the Hairpiece is kept clean and properly maintained, it will not damage your scalp or existing hair.  Hairpiece can actually provide some level of sun protection and protect the sensitive scalp from these factors.

Can I swim, shower or sleep with my hairpiece on?

Yes.  You can definitely sleep in it, swim in it, shower in it, and probably do everything in it.  It shouldn't stop you from doing anything.  However, chlorine in pools can be harmful to hair and make hair drier.  Therefore, we recommend deep conditioning your hairpiece after swimming to help refresh your hair.

How long should I glue the hairpiece on my head after putting it on?

The total bonding time depends on factors such as the adhesive used, your skin type, climate, and your lifestyle.  We recommend that you take it off and clean it every 1-2 weeks to extend the life of your hairpiece.  If you don't sweat much and live in a dry climate, you can leave it for a longer period of time, about 3-4 weeks.

If you use liquid adhesive to attach the Lace Hairpiece, we do not recommend that you wear it continuously for more than two weeks.  If worn too long, the glue will penetrate the lace and be difficult to clean.

I had a problem removing the tape from the lace base of the Hairpiece.  Do you have any suggestions for that?

Before removing the lace hairpiece from the scalp, apply spray adhesive remover to the area where the tape is and soak the tape for a few minutes.  Find the edge of the base at the back and lift it up a bit.  Then gently remove the tape with a towel.

non-surgical hair replacement

What is a non-surgical hair replacement?

Non-surgical hair replacement is a condition in which there is no medical intervention.  Instead, clients consult a custom hair replacement design expert to restore a full, healthy, natural look to their hair using a custom wig.  Whether it's a full wig, top hat or hair extensions, the hair pieces are made of premium materials and can do anything and go anywhere you want.

How much does hair transplant surgery cost?

Hair transplants can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $40,000.  As such procedures are cosmetic and not used to correct medical conditions, they are not covered by insurance.  What's more, these procedures are not guaranteed to stop any hair loss!  Customers may see their transplants fail or further hair loss.  Non-surgical hair replacement costs a fraction of the cost of surgery and can last for years if properly maintained.

We recommend to every customer that if you don't want to go under the knife, you can try these amazing products, non-surgical hair replacement systems, and you will never be disappointed.

How long does non-surgical hair replacement last?

Durability depends on the materials and manufacturing processes used and daily use.  Hair replacement can last for months or years.  Triathlon hairpins are exposed to strong sun, wind, water and sweat, but they're not much use to someone who works in an office, spends time at the gym and chases kids.

Topper

What is a hair topper?

Hair topper is a small wig commonly used by women to add volume and fullness to thinning Hair because in most cases they can secure it to their head with the help of clips.  Unlike regular wigs that provide complete coverage of the head, Hair Topper is designed to cover specific hair thinning areas of the head to achieve a complete hair appearance.  Just like other types of wigs, Hair Topper comes in different base designs, sizes, and shapes to accommodate different stages and areas of hair loss and thinning.

How to choose the right Hair Topper size?

Choosing the right size for your Hair Topper base is the most important thing because of how natural your Hair Topper looks and whether it can be properly secured to your head.  The basic size of the top of your hair should always be consistent with your hair loss area.

First, you need to determine the area of hair loss on your head, which can be a section, the top of your head, your hairline, or your entire hair.

A tape measure is then used to measure the distance of the hair loss area from front to back and left to right, which is the length and width of the basic size, respectively.

After obtaining the correct base size, you will be able to know that the hair top size you purchase will fit exactly in your hair thinning area.

How to choose the right color for Hair Topper?

Generally speaking, hair topper wearers usually look for hair colors that most approximate their hair color to appear as natural as possible. For many first-time wearers, it can be challenging to figure out the right hair color for themselves. The most effective way to do that would be for you to send hair topper companies the hair sample of your hair and we will match it up with the color of your hair sample in the most reliable way. This method has proved to be what always makes the customers satisfied without any chance for discrepancies.

Another way to select the right hair color would be using a color ring that allows you to compare your hair against shades of the hair swatches to find the color right for your hair topper. This is usually very effective as well given it allows you to physically compare your hair color to the swatches.

What is a silk base?

The silk base is a special wig base consisting of three layers of silk, lace and diamond.  When viewed from the top to the bottom, each strand looks as if it is growing out of the scalp.  This remarkable naturalness is achieved through a very complex and time-consuming hair ventilation process involving the top and middle layers of the hair system foundation.  Each strand of hair must be tightly knoted on a middle layer made of a very strong lace material to ensure excellent durability of the hair system before being carefully pulled out from the top layer made of a special material called monofilaments.  This highly mimics the appearance of the human scalp and successfully hides all the knots under the top layer, giving a natural appearance of no knots throughout the base.  To maximize the comfort of the wearer's hair system, another very soft and silky layer known as the diamond monolayer, designed to make contact with the wearer's scalp, is placed at the very bottom of the base.  Silk Base is widely regarded as the most natural wig base and is favored by a large number of wig wearers around the world.

How to wear a hair topper properly?

In contrast to men, who usually have to shave their existing hair before applying adhesive to secure their wigs, most women prefer to use clips to put on their top hats because they don't want to shave their hair.  Using clips to connect hair accessories is easier and faster, as shown in the following steps:

Step 1

Open all clips under the top hat and gently comb the area of hair that will be attached to the top hat clip for a firmer fix.

Step 2

Align the top to the area of hair loss by pulling it over the front hairline and securing the clip.

Step 3

Apply gentle pressure to the top of the bobby pin to hold all the bobby pins in place.  And blend your natural hair with the top until the wig is almost undetectable.

Stock hair systems

Stock hair system or custom hair system, which one should I choose?

Because every customer's situation is so different, there is no single accurate answer.  When choosing between a stock hair system and a custom hair system, you need to ask yourself if you really need a custom hair system.

As opposed to stock hair systems that can be shipped to you immediately, custom hair systems have to be manufactured from scratch with very specific instructions, so the production cycle can be as long as 1-4 months.  If you are in a hurry to buy hair pieces, then the stock hair system is what you need!  Comparatively speaking, if you intend to order a custom Hairpiece, you will need to plan several months in advance to accommodate long waiting times.

Cost is another factor you should consider when making this decision.  Obviously, custom hair systems cost much more than stock systems because they are hand-crafted specifically for you to your requirements.  Therefore, it is recommended that you consider whether it is worth the money to customize your hair system, especially when some stock hair systems may already meet your needs and expectations.  By buying custom-made hair pieces, you could end up spending money on something you don't really need.

How long will the stock hair system last?

Swiss lace hairpieces can be used for 2-3 months.  French lace hairpieces will last a little longer, around 4-5 months, while Mono lace hairpieces will last the longest with proper care, estimated at 6-12 months or more.  Skin hair system depends on the thickness of the base selection, the general stock of skin base thickness is 0.06mm, generally can be used for 2-3 months or so.

What is the difference between custom hair system and stock hair system?

The Stock Hair System is an "off the shelf" version of our Toupee and hair replacement solutions.  They are prefabricated and can be shipped at the point of purchase.  Custom systems are manufactured to order, while duplicate systems are created to match or mimic pre-existing systems.  Custom and copied hair systems can sometimes be the same, but neither can be created from the inventory system.

How does my client cut the base size of the stock hair system by himself?

First, measure the hair system you want to cut and the area you will cover on the client's head.  Do this before cutting, so you can't go wrong.  Then, using sharp scissors and careful hands, cut the base to size.

How do I get the right measurements to match the stock hair system?

Obviously, it is very important to get the right measurements when you choose the right hairpiece.

Even if you are new to hair systems, you can follow these simple steps to get the right measurements for your clients.

Step1: First, mark the front hairline in the middle so that you can get the length of the area by measuring the distance from that point to where the hair meets the bald area at the back.

Step2: Next, use a tape measure to measure the width, which is the vertical distance from the left hairline of the head to the right hairline at the top of the scalp.

I have purchased a stock hair system, how do I install it?

Installing Toupee for men is not as easy as it looks, as it requires a series of tasks that must be done in the right order.  However, after a few practice sessions, you should feel confident in the program.

Step1: First of all, you need to shave your head and clean your scalp thoroughly with an alcohol spray.

Step 2: Next, you will apply tape or glue or a combination of both to the human hair men's wig base, depending on the base material and base structure.  One thing you might want to know is that glue compares better with skin material than with lace material, while tape generally works with all types of substrates.

Step3: Then, during the attachment process, you need to carefully and accurately place the male Toupee on the client's scalp and ensure that it is completely fixed in place.  When finished, Human Hair Toupee should look very natural and realistic, with the hair blending naturally with the client's own hair.

How to find the most suitable custom hair system?

To find the best custom hair system for you, the first thing you need to know is what size hair system is best for the hair loss area of your head.  If you order the wrong size, the man Hairpiece may end up looking awkward or even unwearable.

Next, you need to choose the right base design, preferring Toupee that looks natural and imperceptible, or putting more emphasis on whether the hair system is breathable and comfortable enough to fully enjoy yourself in many situations.  Therefore, decide which base design is best for you after deciding on your preferences.  Base color is recommended to choose the color closest to your skin tone to create the most natural makeup!

For A person's front hairline, there are four common front contour shapes: AA, A, CC, and C.  Determining the correct front profile based on your front profile shape is important to get a natural look. The curls/waves of the hair system and hair density also play a key role in the natural look of realistic Toupee for men.  To ensure perfect and seamless integration with your existing hair, you need to ensure that the curls/waves and hair density of the non-surgical hair system match the client's existing hair (unless they are completely bald).

Other hair units for men's customization options, including length, color, orientation, and gray or highlight type, are entirely up to the customer's personal preference.  Whatever they like, it should be the best for them.  Finally, the lace base can be bleached to make the base look more natural.  Therefore, if you want to take your hair system to another level, it is recommended that you bleach the knots at an additional cost.

Skin hair systems

What is the skin hair system? What are its advantages and disadvantages?

The Skin Hair System is a hair replacement system with a base made of a very soft and silky polyurethane material that mimics the appearance of human skin.

Most skin hair systems look natural and comfortable enough to meet the wearer's needs.  Another advantage of thin hair systems is that they are very compatible with glue and tape when it comes to attaching and cleaning ultra-thin hair systems;  As a result, the wearer is spared a lot of trouble.  The thickness of the base of the skin varies greatly.  The thinner the skin, the more natural the toupee will look, and vice versa.  In contrast, the longevity of the skin base hairpiece was positively correlated with the thickness of the skin.

Therefore, when it comes to thin fur hair replacement systems, there is always a trade-off between durability and authenticity.  Some of them look perfectly natural but are not durable, while others last a long time but are not imperceptible.

How long does the skin hair system last?

The longevity of a thin-skin hair system depends on a variety of factors, such as base thickness, hair type, hair ventilation method, and whether they are properly cared for.

Of all these factors, the base thickness plays the most important role in the life of the thin skin hair system, because the thicker the base, the longer the life of the hair system.  That's why the 0.03mm thin-skin hair system only has a one-month life, while the 0.06mm and 0.08mm can last up to two to four months if properly maintained.  In general, thin leather wigs with a skin thickness of more than 0.1mm are fine for more than 6 months;  However, their naturalness has been greatly compromised.

The type of hair used to produce thin-skinned hair systems also plays a role in service life.  Using high-grade hair materials, many thin-skinned hair systems seek to extend their life expectancy because such hair materials are less prone to breakage and shedding.

How do I install the skin hair system?

Glue is often used for the installation of thin skin hair systems because it is easier and faster than tape.  Yiyohair provides you with five steps to install a skin hair system.

Step 1: Cut the hair system to the size of the top of your head and trim off excess skin at the front hairline.  Be careful not to cut the hair when cutting the base.

Step 2: Shave the area of hair that the system will cover.  Clean your scalp thoroughly with alcohol.

Step 3: Use a makeup pen to mark several points on your scalp along the edge of the hair system. The front hairline can be positioned by placing four fingers above your eyebrows.

Step 4: Brush a thin layer of glue over the dots, then carefully wipe off the dots.

Step 5: After the glue is completely dry, position the invisible thin skin hair system from the front of the hairline to the back.  Try to make sure there are no bubbles.  Once the hair system is well positioned, press firmly on it to ensure that it is firmly attached to your head.

How to cut hair system with extra skin base?

When you place an order from our website, you can request a cut base service.  If you're going to cut your own base, YiyoHair has some practical tips for you.

First, measure the basic size you want on a thin skin hair piece and mark the points with a marker.  You need to do this for the width and length of the base.  You can then join the markers to form a solid line around the base.

Before picking up the scissors, you need to pull the hair back behind the line you marked.  Then, carefully cut along the line, making sure the hair stays behind the line;  Otherwise, you'll end up cutting your hair by mistake.  If you end up cutting your hair, you'll be left with some short, less natural looking hair around your hairline.

How to maintain skin hair system?

Since skin hair systems come with bases made of synthetic polyurethane material and should be in contact with human skin, they need to be cleaned and stored regularly to maintain the correct shape and appearance.  With regular and proper maintenance, the hair system can last for the longest service life.

When removing skin hair systems, it is highly recommended to spray remover around and then wait a few minutes for the adhesive to release.  Then, gently lift the base off the scalp from back to front so as not to damage the front hairline.

When not wearing the skin hair system, place it on a dry, clean and flat surface to maintain its shape.  To prevent tangles and breaks, brush the thin-skin hair system with a wide-toothed comb every day, and apply a moderate amount of leave-in conditioner to the hair system.  When the hair system feels dry, wash it with shampoo and conditioner, then rinse with warm water.  Finally, towel dry the hair system and let it air dry.  Note: You should follow the correct steps to clean the hair system as soon as possible, as the skin material should not be left in the liquid for too long.

Lace hair systems

How to attach a complete lace hair system?

To install a complete lace hair replacement system, first protect the scalp with a balsam adhesive.  Let it dry, then apply the tape directly to the head.  From there, the hair system can be positioned and adjusted. Yiyohair recommends that you try the installation by following these steps:

Step 1: Using scissors, cut some hair system tape into thin, short pieces.  Attach small pieces of tape to the perimeter of the base.  Since the hair system tape is double-sided, it is necessary to remove the protective paper on the other side.

Step 2: If you are not bald, shave off the rest of your hair.  Try shaving off areas that fit the size of the toupee.  Use rubbing alcohol to clean the wig and the customer's head.  It is important to remove all dirt and scalp oil before applying the film.

Step 3: Choose where you want the wig to be and mark it on your head.

Step 4: Position the hair and wig and slowly apply it to the scalp from the front of the head to the back.  Be sure not to press the tape on the customer's baby hair during the process.  Continue applying pressure to ensure that the wig is firmly attached to the head.

Step 5: Tailor your hair to your needs.

How to get rid of excess lace base?

When you place an order from our website, you can request a cut base service.  If you're going to cut the base yourself.  Yiyohair gives you some thoughtful advice. Once you have correctly placed the lace Toupee, you can carefully trim the excess material of the lace Toupee.  It is recommended that you take care not to trim too much until you are completely satisfied with the fit and position of the Hairpiece.

First, you need to take the tape and measure the basic size you want and mark the points with markers.

If you end up cutting your hair, you'll be left with short cuts around your hairline, and they won't look natural.

How to maintain lace hair system?

Step 1: Remove the tape by slowly peeling it away from the polyurethane area of the lace hair system.  If the tape is difficult to peel, try soaking the lace hair system in water first.

Step 2: Soak the lace hair system in a liquid solvent.  Soaking time may vary depending on the lacing hair system and the type of tape used.  In most cases, 30 minutes is enough.

Step 3: Remove the hair system from the solvent and place hair side down in the sink.  Gently remove residue with a brush.  After removing the residue, place the device back in the solvent for a few minutes.

Step 4: Remove the hair system from the solvent and return it to the sink.  Gently slide the brush over the edge of the base and through the hair, and all remaining residue should slip off easily.  After brushing your teeth for a few minutes, rinse the hair system from the bottom with warm water.

At this point, the lace hair system should be cleaned and removed of old tape residue.

How many lace hair systems are there?

There are two main types of lace used in the making of Toupee: the French lace hair system and the Swiss lace hair system.  French lace usually has a smaller, thicker, and more durable structure.  Swiss lace, with a slightly larger hole, is lighter, softer and more breathable.  What kind of lace customers choose depends on their personal needs.

Which is better, French lace or Swiss lace?

Due to good breathability, light weight, and lace hair systems are all considered the best summer wear options, as they will give you the coolest feeling they can expect!  Those who live a very active lifestyle are often the most loyal and persistent users because they sweat a lot.  In terms of naturalness, both lace hair systems are undetectable, and when paired with 100% high-quality real human hair, can give the wearer a very realistic look of full hair.  Nonetheless, they differ from each other in ways that will strongly influence those who choose between them.

Appearance

Without looking closely, it is almost impossible to tell the difference in their appearance, as both bases are made of thousands of ultra-fine threads neatly woven into a web of countless small holes.  However, if you look closely at the base, you will see that the holes in the Swiss lace are slightly larger than the holes in the French lace, which actually makes the Swiss lace look less noticeable than the French lace.  Larger holes undoubtedly mean better air permeability, which explains why the Swiss lace hair system feels more breathable to many wearers than the French lace hair system.

Touch

There are also differences in how the two hair systems feel on the scalp.  Compared to Swiss lace soles, French lace soles are made of stronger and thicker thread, so when you touch them, you will feel that Swiss lace is softer and lighter.  This difference is attributed to the finer fibers used in the production of Swiss lace materials, while the fibers of French lace materials are more elastic and strong.

Although Swiss lace hair systems provide a relatively more comfortable feel, they do have their downsides.

Compared to the French lace hair system, the Swiss lace hair system is more vulnerable to tearing and pulling injuries because the threads are very thin and soft.  Hair system bases can easily break and go to waste if not used correctly.  Usually, Swiss lace hair systems can last one to two months before becoming unusable.  In contrast, French lace hair systems are more resistant to this damage, which makes them last longer, four to five months.

Hair density

Hair density is a measure of the volume of hair in a toupee. The higher the density, the more hair there is on the toupee. The hair density of toupees is usually divided into the following grades from low to high: extra light, light, medium light, medium, medium heavy, and heavy. The level of hair density that a toupee can withstand is another difference between the French lace hair system and the Swiss lace hair system. Given that French lace substrates are made of stronger fibers that are very resistant to pulling and breaking, the French lace hair system can have hair densities as high as medium thickness to meet the demands of head-hungry wearers with thick hair.  However, when it comes to the Swiss lace hair system, things are not so flexible, as the maximum hair density compatible with the Swiss lace sole is medium light. Anything other than that will make the base of the hair system more vulnerable to breakage and damage from pulling. This prevents people who want hair density higher than medium light from trying Swiss lace hairpieces, which is one reason why French lace hair systems have a much larger consumer base than Swiss lace hair systems worldwide.

How to choose the color of lace?

If your customer has pale or light skin, clear and white lacing is best.  For people with darker skin tones, colored lacing - such as brown or even black - is best.  Customers are advised to choose the color of lace according to their skin tone as it needs to match the scalp.

Mono hair systems

Who is best for Mono Hair System?

Mono hair systems are the best option for hair system wearers who prioritize the lifespan of their hair systems, since monofilament human hair pieces is a really strong and solid base material that is very resistant to damage and wears.

That is why they are seen as the most economical and budget-friendly mono top hair piece design.   In addition, people who prefer hybrid hair system designs that combine more than one type of base material should consider mono hair systems, as they are generally designed in accordance with such an approach.

What are the advantages of the Mono hair system?  What are the disadvantages?

The Mono hair replacement system is very breathable and durable.  They accept the need for heavier hair density and the elimination of bleached hair knots.  However, they are not as durable as plastic leather or as natural as lace.

How to maintain Mono Hair Systems?

Because the base of the Mono hair system is made of a thin, mesh, nylon-like material with very small, dense holes, it is more difficult to clean the base and keep it in good condition, especially when the wearer is using hair products such as gels, mousses, glues, and conditioners.  The residue of these products can gradually erode the roots of the hair, which can lead to hair loss.  Therefore, it is critical to clean the base thoroughly and regularly to prevent damage to your hair and base.

Frequency of cleaning

Daily wearers should change the adhesive daily and shampoo the hair system weekly.  Semi-permanent wearers (1-2 weeks) should be thoroughly cleaned after removal, while permanent wearers should not wear the hair system for more than 4 weeks without thorough cleaning.

Avoid the Mono Area

Avoid using glue or tape in the Mono Area;  Just use it in the polygon area.  This will often provide enough hold for comfortable and long-lasting wear, meaning cleanliness will not be too much of an issue.

Choose the right

Alcohol-based adhesive removers are recommended, which are the most popular and effective choice when removing adhesives.  They managed to remove residues from the Mono hair system and human head very effectively.  Also, use citrus cleaners, which are mild solvents.  Not only do these cleaners simplify the process of removing Toupee and adhesive, but they can also do so without damaging the hair replacement system.

Use a spray conditioner

In addition, wearers should use spray conditioner.  In addition to being a great option for keeping your hair in good condition, spray conditioners can also help avoid tangles and keep your hair soft.  However, when cleaning the Mono hair system, it is actually difficult to completely remove the residue of the conditioner.  This is because the holes are very small and dense.  When conditioner gets into the hole, it's hard to clean them completely.  Sometimes it may look clean, but actually there is still some left in the hole.

And while conditioner is rich in nutrients, a little bit can house a lot of bacteria, which can gradually eat away at the roots.  Then, in this case, it is surely much better to use a spray conditioner, which sprays directly on and nourishes your hair without coming into contact with the fine Mono base.  It also makes hair maintenance easier and faster.

What are the types of Mono bases?

There are several types of Mono base materials that can provide natural effects.  These include fine Mono, Super Fine Mono, and welded mono, as well as very durable fine welded mono, even better than French lace.

What are the differences between fine mono and Fine welded mono?

Fine Mono and Fine Welded Mono are two different types of Mono hair replacement system materials with different advantages.

The Fine Mono hair system is made of a stronger, stronger single fabric with denser and smaller holes compared to the Fine Welded mono hair system.  This is why it has a longer service life than the Fine Welded mono.

In addition, hair systems with substrates made from Fine Mono material can have a higher hair density because the material does not break easily.  One thing to note is that Fine Mono is rarely used specifically to produce hair system bases, and skin peripherals are often used in combination with such materials to protect Mono edges from fraying.

The Fine Welded mono Hair System is more similar to the lace material compared to the Fine Welded mono.  Unlike the Fine Mono, the Fine Welded Mono is made of a softer, more refined Mono fabric with larger holes, which is why it feels more breathable on the head.  Fine Welded mono is also proving to be a more advantageous choice when it comes to feeling realistic, as larger holes often look less noticeable when covered by hair from the hair system.  Another difference between the two types of hair systems is that Fine Welded mono is often used specifically to produce hair system bases without the need for skin peripherals, as the edges are less prone to fraying.  On the other hand, despite being more breathable and natural,

When choosing between Fine Mono hair systems and Fine Welded Mono hair systems, it is important to keep in mind your highest needs and determine which type of human hair will best meet your needs.

How long will the Mono hair system last?

The duration of Mono Hair Systems depends on a number of factors, such as the underlying design, the hair type, the manufacturer, and the handling of Mono Hair Systems.  In terms of base design, the greater the proportion of Mono in the base, the longer the life of Mono Hair pieces will be.  Based on the customer experience of our partners, the majority of Mono Hair Systems on the market last for more than six months for most wearers.

The type of hair used to produce Mono Hair Systems also plays a role in service life.  Using high-grade hair materials, many Mono Hair Systems manage to extend their life expectancy because this hair material does not break and fall out easily.  Tape is recommended instead of glue.  Since Mono, like lace, is a permeable material, it takes more work to clean up residual glue, which, as a result, damages hair roots.  It turns out that frequent use of glue on Mono Hair Systems can shorten its useful life.

What's the difference between a skin hair system and a lace hair system?

The main difference between the two hair systems is their base material.

Unlike the thin leather hair system, which has a base made mostly of polyurethane material, the base of the Lace hair system is made of different kinds of lace materials that are very soft, breathable and interwoven.  Lace hair systems are highly rated by hair system wearers worldwide because they look very natural and are not noticeable.  With a number of holes in the base and therefore extraordinary breathability, lace hair replacement systems are considered more suitable for hot weather as they give the wearer the coolest feeling.  People who live an active lifestyle find this hair system especially popular.

In contrast, the thin-skin hair system is very user-friendly as it is easy to clean and clean the glue on the base.  This feature is particularly valuable as more skin-based hair system wearers prefer to use glue for attachment.  The wearer can use glue to put the wig on in a few minutes.  After taking it off, they can rinse the glue off with clean water and let it dry.  For lace hair systems, tape is widely used because the lace material is not compatible with glue, which can gradually damage the lace material.

Deciding which hair system is better depends largely on the needs and preferences of the wearer, as both types of hair systems have their own advantages that make them valued by different populations.

Especially popular among those who enjoy an athletic lifestyle or live in hot and humid climates, Lace Toupee is highly prized for its excellent breathability, thanks to the thousands of tiny holes that allow the wearer's scalp to breathe fully.  The Mono Hair Toupees base has a much smaller hole, which results in less air permeability.

Lace Hair Toupee also has the upper hand when it comes to naturalness and invisibility, as the base material of lace blends in better with the hair and is less noticeable.  Still, most Mono Hair systems on the market, especially those Toupee hair with bleached lace on the front, look natural enough to keep the wearer comfortable.

Mono hair systems, on the other hand, are made of thicker, sturdier materials and are undoubtedly more durable and practical than lace hairpieces, making them a better value for money option in the long run.  So when choosing between lace and Mono hair replacement systems, wearers should be clear about what their hair system cares about most, and which base type of Toupees better meets their specific needs.

Silk top hair systems

What is Silk Top Hair System?

A silk top hair system is a hair system with a base that consists of three layers made of silk mono, lace, and diamond mono, respectively.

When looking at the base from the top, each single hair strand looks exactly as if it is growing right out of a scalp. Such exceptional naturalness is actually achieved through a very complicated and time-consuming hair ventilation process that involves both the top layer and the middle layer of the hair system base.

Each single hair has to be tightly knotted onto the middle layer (which is made of very solid lace material to guarantee a superior durability of the hair system) before being carefully pulled out through the top layer (which is made of a special material called silk mono that imitates the appearance of a human scalp remarkably well).

This process hides all of the knots under the top layer, thus presenting a knotless, natural look all over the base. To maximize the comfort level for wearers of this hair system, another very soft and silky layer that is meant to come into contact with the wearers’ scalp is placed at the very bottom of the base. This layer is called diamond mono.

How long will Silk Top Hair Systems last?

The longevity of the Silk Top hair system depends on many factors, such as the quality of the base material, the type of hair, the manufacturer and how well they are cared for.  As far as the base material is concerned, the higher the quality of the material, the longer the Silk Top Hairpiece will last.

Based on the experience of our partner customers, most silk headwear systems on the market can last for more than six months for most wearers.

The type of hair used to produce a silk headpiece system also has an impact on service life. Your silky hair system may last longer than expected by using high-grade hair materials, as this hair material does not easily break and fall out.  Another factor that affects the longevity of silk headpieces is their level of care, which explains the different longevity of the same silk headpiece system produced by the same manufacturer but worn by different wearers.

Tape is recommended instead of glue.  Since the diamond lace at the bottom is a water-permeable material like the lace, it takes more work to clean up residual glue that can damage the roots.

It turns out that frequent use of glue on Silk Top Hair Toupee shortens their useful life.

How much do you buy a Silk Top Hair System?

The silk tiara system is undoubtedly one of the most expensive hair replacement systems for men.

Given the complexity and requirements of the hair ventilation process, it can take more than twice as long to make silk overhead hairpieces as it would for a hair system with only one base layer.  This leads to higher labor costs.

In terms of base material cost, both Silk Mono and Diamond Mono are scarce materials and are less used in the hair systems industry, making it more difficult and expensive for manufacturers to procure such materials.

Silk top hairpieces as a very comprehensive hair replacement option, Silk Top hair systems will never impress wearers in terms of all the things that matter to them, such as realism, comfort and longevity.  The unparalleled naturalness and imperceptible appearance of silk top hair systems is becoming increasingly popular with a growing number of hair system wearers worldwide.

All of these factors make silk-top hair systems more expensive than other types of hair systems.  In general, most men's custom hair toupees now cost anywhere from $600 to $800.  However, the wholesale price of the customized wig for the same silk top is significantly lower than the market price, and you can get Silk Top Hair Systems for about a $200.

Silk Top Hair Systems is better than lace Hair Systems?

They're just two very different hair systems with their own characteristics.  Which one is better depends largely on the wearer's own needs and preferences, as both types of hair systems have their own advantages and are valued by different populations.

Especially popular with people who enjoy an athletic lifestyle or live in areas with hot and humid climates, lace Hair Pieces are highly prized for their superior breathability, as it has thousands of small holes that allow the wearer's scalp to breathe fully.  Given the huge variation in base designs and base materials, no type of silk Top Hair system can achieve the same level of air permeability.

Nonetheless, based on feedback from our partner customers, both hair replacement systems are comfortable enough for most wearers.  When it comes to how natural they look, the silk top hair system definitely wins the day - not just because hair is injected directly into the top silk monolayer to create a knot-free appearance, but also because of the fact that the single silk superficially resembles a human scalp to a greater extent.

While this is true, the lace hair system seems undetectable, especially after all the knots have been completely bleached, making the wearer feel at ease when out in public.  Silk Top Hair Pieces proved to be a more advantageous option in terms of their respective service lives, as they lasted longer than six months when properly cared for.  To sum up, despite the price gap, silk Top Hair Pieces may be a more advantageous option for most hair system wearers who are less concerned about the breathability of men's Toupee hair.

Custom hair systems

What is the best custom hair system for me?

To find the best custom hair system for you, the first thing you need to know is what size Toupee best fits the hair loss area of your head. If you order the wrong size, the hair replacement system may end up looking awkward or even unwearable.

Next, you need to choose the right base design, preferring a hair system that looks natural and imperceptible, or putting more emphasis on whether Toupee is breathable and comfortable enough to fully enjoy itself in many situations.

The hair system of curls/waves and hair density also plays a key role in the natural look of realistic male hairpieces.  To ensure perfect and seamless integration with your existing hair, you need to ensure that the curls/waves and hair density of the non-surgical hair replacement system match the client's existing hair (unless they are completely bald).

Other options for the men's custom hair system, including hair length, color, orientation, and gray or highlight type, are entirely up to your personal preference. Whatever you like, it should be the best fit.  Finally, use a bleached knot on top of the lace base to make the base look more natural.  Therefore, if you want to take your hair system to another level, it is recommended that you bleach the knots at an additional cost.

Should I choose custom hair system or stock hair system?

There is no exact answer to this question!  Everyone's situation is completely different.  When choosing between a stock hair system and a custom hair system, you need to ask yourself if you really need a custom hair system.  Unlike stock hair systems, which can be shipped immediately, custom hair systems have to be manufactured from scratch according to very specific instructions, so the production cycle can be as long as 1-4 months.  If you are in a hurry for a piece of hair, then the stock hair system is just what you need!  Relatively speaking, if you plan to order a custom hair replacement system, it is necessary to plan several months in advance to accommodate long waiting times.

How do I make a hair system template?

To make a hair system template, you need to prepare a few things in advance, including scissors, plastic wrap, scotch tape, and markers.

Step 1: First, clean your scalp to ensure a smooth surface.  Then, tear off a large piece of plastic wrap and place it over your head.  Make sure you press down hard and evenly, and that the plastic wrap is air-tight without any gaps or bumps.

Next, use a marker to trace the bottom of the package.  To find the front hairline, place four fingers flat on your forehead and your pinky finger just above your eyebrow.  Where your index finger is is where your front hairline should start.  Draw a line from this point to form your hairline.  Make sure you draw a smooth outline around the head.

Next, apply the tape to the plastic wrap from the front, then spread the tape evenly across the scalp, piece by piece.  Each piece of tape needs to overlap and completely cover the bald area.  From front to back and left to right, apply three or four coats of tape to make sure the stencil is strong enough.

If you need parts and crowns, mark the pivot point of the original growth of the part.  Then, draw a line from the pivot point at the back of the crown to the front hairline.  Write down your name, an "F" on the front and a "B" on the back, and any special requirements for parts or crown.

One last step, let's get it done!  Cut off excess wraps along the outline drawn.  To make sure the template fits, put it back on your head.
