Color Matching Tips
- Take photos in natural daylight — Indoor lighting can distort your hair color. For the best match, photograph your hair outdoors or by a window.
- Match to the mid-shaft — The most accurate representation of your hair color is found in the middle of the hair strand, not at the roots (which are darker) or ends (which may be lighter from sun exposure).
- Consider your temples — Many people have slightly lighter or greyer hair at the temples. We can customize grey percentage in the temple area for a more natural look.
- When in doubt, go slightly lighter — Hair systems tend to appear slightly darker once installed due to the base material underneath. If between two shades, the lighter option often looks more natural.
