Most of the clients are complaining after wear hair system for months or weeks. Why my toupee is shedding? Why the color goes red? Why is not soft anymore? Etc. However, there are some customer’s toupee still keep in a good shape as original. Same quality products of course.
Obviously, proper hair system care and maintenance also could extend their life span.
The following information will guide you how to care and maintain your hair system.
- Never use hot water to wash them, use cold water
- Never use hair dryer, high temperature will cause hair loss or fluffy
- Use towel sip the water and airing
Those are the basic toupee care tips and now I’ll explain other easy neglect tips for some aspects.
Avoid UV Ray
If your hair system is exposed to the outside for a long term, which will break it down and wear it out. Harmful UV Rays from the sun can cause the hair in your hair system to turn other color like it will turn into orange or red. This change is called oxidation and though it is a gradual and slow process, the more time you spend in outdoors, the more could affect you and the natural appearance you're used to getting from your hair replacement. Your hair system may begin to take on a red hue or color tint. This is why some clients are confused why my toupee turn red. Now what? Actually, there are many hair system products contain UV protectors in the market that could help block most of the harmful rays. Using these products doesn't mean everything is fine, those products can’t 100% avoid it but they will help. In fact, wear a hat or baseball cap also a good choice.
About Shedding
Shedding is one of the most worrying issue for customers. Shedding is normal but how does it happen and how we prevent that? There are two main factors cause that, friction and bacteria. A major create friction is come from sleep with a crude pillowcase. Another reason is excess combing and brushing your hair. Kindly remind, don’t wear helmet for long time and don’t rub your hair system just be gentle.
Hair Soft
Maintaining hair system soft is the most serious problem we all face. Don’t use too much shampooing and don’t use blow dryer.
It’s hard and impossible to avoid all the problem, but we can promote.
